On March 4th Kukuli Velarde, who is a very good friend of mine, will have a major exhibition of work covering sculpture, painting, drawing installation and video. She is an artist from Peru who has lived in the United States for 20 years. She is both a master of her mediums and a socially charged artist with a distinct voice.
